[Design and Technology] Academy of Design name change and Folio Enhancement Short Courses

In line with one of its own principles of staying contemporary and relevant
in an ever changing creative environment, the Australian Academy of Design
has undertaken a name change and a brand image refresh.

The Academy of Design has established itself as Australia¹s premier
independent, not-for-profit tertiary institution specialising in art and
design. However it has been decided to evolve the name to ACADEMY
of DESIGN, which places less emphasis on the nation and focuses on the
essence and purpose of the institution. It is a move to clearly claim
ownership of the ACADEMY of DESIGN in Australia. The Academy
will continue to offer the Bachelor of Design Arts with major studies
programs in Advertising, Graphic Design, Photo Media, Fashion Design and
Visual Arts.

In addition to offering the Bachelor of Design Arts, this year the Academy
is offering a series of VCE folio building short courses ­ a link to further
