Hi Emy,

Australian Jewellery Supplies (AJS) is pretty reasonable, and can link you with a range of suppliers of more specialised gear. They have a school liaison officer who specifically works with school departments who was very helpful with us. http://jewellerssupplies.com.au/

George White and Co are great for non-ferrous metals https://www.aemetal.com.au/Webstore/default.aspx

A and E Metals are great for some jewellery bits, findings, clasps and etc, and precious metals in general https://www.aemetal.com.au/Webstore/default.aspx

No affiliation to any of these suppliers, I've just used them in the past and they've been good.

Subject: [Design and Technology] jewellery set up in school

Good morning everyone,

I'm wanting a bit of advice for jewellery making; I have a year 11 student that is very interested for next year.
So could someone advise me what company may help for a basic set up in a school, or recommend some equipment that may e helpful.
Also of any short course over summer...

Many thanks
