[Design and Technology] Upcoming Events for creative students at Academy of Design

Some information is below on a couple of upcoming events for students
interested in pursuing creative studies and careers.

CREATIVE CAREERS DAY
Sunday 15th September
10-4pm (Free event)

Secondary students interested in pursuing a creative career are invited to
come and meet practitioners in the fields of art and design and hear their
stories about how they got started in their creative field.  Speakers
feature from Fashion and Accessory Design, Graphic Design, Filmmaking,
Photography and Visual Arts, along with a lawyer who will discuss copyright
as it relates to creative work.  People interested in registering can

VCE EXAM PREPARATION & FOLIO PRESENTATION WORKSHOP
Tuesday 24 & Wednesday 25th September
Tuesday 9.30am -2.30pm
Wednesday 9 am ­ 12.30pm and / or 1pm ­ 4.30pm

* VCE (year 12) students interested in  in Exam preparation sessions for the
following subjects:
    Visual Communication Design (Linda McLeod)
    Product Design & Technology (Jacinta O¹Leary)
    Studio Arts (Marian Strong)
    Multimedia (Ana Tuckerman)

* VCE (Year 12) students interested in receiving feedback for their design
folios along with tips to help them during their design interview process
for the following subjects:
    Communication Design
    Fashion & Costume Design
    Filmmaking & Photography
    Graphic & Digital Design
    Visual Arts
