[Design and Technology] DATTA Conference Gold Coast

Hi all,

 

Please be aware that there is a great Conference for Technology Teachers
being run jointly by DATTA.Australia, and INTAD ( Queensland Technology
Education  Association), in conjunction with the bi-annual TERC (Technology
Education Research Conference) at the Gold Coast from December 5 - 8.

 

Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Surfers Paradise, with
some workshops at nearby schools, commencing on Wednesday evening.

 

Theme: EXPLORATIONS OF BEST PRACTICE IN TECHNOLOGY, DESIGN and ENGINEERING
EDUCATION.

 

Conference Registration (3 days) is $405

Accommodation is still available at Crowne Plaza, Surfers Paradise, for $170
room (single) or $190 (twin) per night including breakfast.

 

A great range of practical workshops, technology presentations and research
papers are scheduled, including presentations by Victorian colleagues, and
international Technology educators, while the list of delegates registered
are from most Australian states and many overseas countries.
