[Design and Technology] Student Poster Design Competition - extended to 3 September

The closing date for submissions in the Australian Academy of design¹s
Poster Design Prize has been extended to 3 September. Further details are
below, or for more information visit our website at www.designacademy.edu.au

There is a first prize of $1000, an exhibition of entries, along with
potential press coverage in local school zone and the chance of display
across Metro¹s train station poster cases.

theme: ³MetronisationŠ the future of Melbourne¹s Metro²
 
With the car becoming an increasingly less reliable form of transport for
the growing metropolis we live in, what vision do you have for Melbourne¹s
Metro in 50 years time?  What would it look like in 2062? How would you
travel with it? What would the stations be like?  With the pace technology
and cities grow at, the only barrier here is your imagination.
 
Entries close 3 September, 2012
 
Secondary School Students years 10-12
 
First Place: $1000 cash prize from Metro
Second Place: $500 cash prize from Metro
Third Place: $250 cash prize from Metro

€ an image of your poster in low resolution jpeg or pdf

€ completed entry form with artist¹s release form

€ artist¹s statement of no more than 150 words. This statement should
explain how the work addresses the theme

€ completed model release form (if you used a model)
