[Design and Technology] Vic Wood honoured - trainer of many "woodwork" teachers

Hi to all who were taught by Vic Wood at Melbourne State College or CAE
Melb. etc.  

 

Vic Wood was one of the key reasons I became a "woodwork teacher" now
Technology teacher.  He received an honour in the last round of honours on
Australian Day (No, I don't know which one .sorry).  

 

The Victorian Woodworkers Association is having a special event on May 1st ,
at 7.30, Meat Market Craft Centre, Nth Melbourne in the lecture room.  

 

Steven Hughes, Tony Russo, Sue Wraight and gorgeous Geoff Clague will all be
there.  Steve, that wizard with the lathe and exceptional exam marker, will
be one of the speakers. 

 

Please be there to show Vic that we all know what he did for Technology
education and for us personally.  

 

If you need to know more then Andrew Potoschnick (sorry for the spelling) is
the person to ring on 0419 875811.  My understanding is that just turn up
and the more the merrier.  "Spread it round". Mr. G.
