[Design and Technology] Workshop safety

Hi, does anyone know where I can find the recommendations for workshop safety? I have to risk assess things like "appropriate placing and number of emergency stop buttons" and "safe working area", the problem is I am unaware of the legal obligation we have for these type of risks.
