Hi All,

The Independent Education Union has received assurances from the NSW board
of studies that the indicative hours would remain in their current format.
(see attachment)

However, the states are still committed to phase 1. This means someone is
going to have yield.

Whilst the news is encouraging, ACARA have proven that they are reluctant to
listen to anyone.

If you haven't already done so, please take a moment to read the petition
and if you agree or even if you don't, post a comment.

You will get an email that you can forward to others. Please do so. If you
know somebody who works in the media, print, radio or tv, get them to air
it.

Post it on Facebook, do whatever you have to do to get our voices heard on
this issue that could ultimately cost you your job.

Thanks
