The Keynote Speakers - don't miss out!

Greg Gebhart and Chris Betcher will be known to many of you. They are exciting speakers with contemporary perspectives, knowledge and skills. They always have something new and challenging to say.

Greg Gebhart, Consultant and Director IT Vision will present: 21st Century Learning - changing the classroom dynamics. In his address Greg will reflect on the ever changing classroom landscape and how students have taken control of their own learning. They have become the experts in creating networks, publishing content, and creating their own digital identities, even if it's not in the educational arena. The challenge for schools and educators is how to keep up with the rate of change and what can be used successfully in education that might change the learning landscape.

Chris Betcher, ICT Integrator, PLC Sydney, NSW will present: Are IWBs carrying our classrooms into the 21st century, or chaining them to the past? In his address Chris will reflect on the fact that despite their rapid adoption in schools all over the world, the effectiveness and value of IWB technology is still viewed with considerable controversy. Can they make a real difference to teaching and learning, or are they just another expensive gimmick? The answer, it seems, is completely up to you. In this keynote Chris explores some of the controversy, myths and hype surrounding IWBs so you can make up your own mind.
