not apply to Independent and Catholic schools)

Have you received a copy of the following Department of Education and
Early Childhood Development Memorandum sent on 2 February 2010? 

S031-2010 Notification of OHS Audit to be Conducted of all Powered Plant
in Wood, Metal and/or Automotive Technology Areas 

This memorandum was sent to all government schools, principals and OHS
reps so please ensure you have a received a copy. The auditors have
already started contacting schools to arrange a time to conduct the
audits which will start from 22 February.
