[Design and Technology] some questions about the 2008 Insight exam

Hi Liz,  I have had the same issue.  I searched every text book I could find
and nothing.  Then finally in the one by Jacinta Oleary there is a page in
the blue section in the front.  A list of design factors,  fundamentals and
applications.  Very vague, still can't find a clear definition of each, but
it is a start.

 

With the LCA I have just told my students to look at the negative.  What do
others think?

Hi all,

To those teachers who have had their students sit the 2008 Insight Design
Tech exam.

Q.1. Where in the course are the girls meant to understand what
'fundamental' and 'applications' mean? Can someone please explain

When describing the Life Cycle Analysis of a product are you meant to refer
to both the negative and positive aspects associated with the production of
a product.
