like Melissa I would be interested inattending. Is that the PL0815DT "Preparation for Unit 4..." course?
I attended a PD day last year on D&T assessment which was very good. Could I get an idea on what would be looked at on June 13??

Unit 4 P.D by DATTA on the GAT day.
Could I suggest that if teachers are struggling with some of the work
required in Units 3 & 4 that DATTA Vic are running a PD Day on the GAT day
(June 13 ?) and it should answer many of the issues and give you a chance to
catch up with other teachers and exchange ideas.
I will be one of the presenters and did have a lot of success last year with
my year 12 D&T class so hope to see you there.

Hi
the evaluation criteria is not used until the evaluation (although you have
to develop the criteria as part of the brief). All of the design options
must meet the specifications (otherwise they are not valid options), but the
evaluation criteria will be used only to evaluate the final product. So, in
my opinion and to summarise, your evaluation criteria are developed only for
the final solution (option). Does that help ??
