[Design and Technology] 2007 F1 in Schools World Championships

Dear Colleagues,

The Re-Engineering Australia Forum Ltd. (REA) is hosting the 2007 F1 in Schools World Championships, Melbourne, Australia.

You are invited to attend!  All the details are available from our website www.rea.org.au . Register to visit the venue or enrol to attend our special world wide WebEx Webcast.

The largest International High School Engineering Competition ever staged in Australia sees 18 Student Engineering Teams representing 14 nations, preparing to descend on Melbourne in March, in a bid to wrest the coveted Bernie Ecclestone Trophy away from Australia.

The 2007 F1inSchools World Championships will be held at the Telstra Dome and adjacent Telstra Innovation Centre on March 13-14, then the teams will re-locate to a custom-built marquee called the F1 Experience at the Australian Grand Prix on March 15- 16 for elimination speed racing. The 2007 World Champions will be crowned at the Gala Awards Presentation Ceremony, March 16, Sebel Albert Park Hotel.

Australia will be represented by two Victorian Schools. Trinity Grammar Kew, reigning World Champions and Laverton Secondary College.
