[Design and Technology] Digital Electronic timing device

Hi All
 
Would anybody be able to help me source a digital timing deivice far racing vehicles such as CO2 cars or Maglev vehicels aver a long track.  With triggers on each end you can acquie timing down to the hunderds of a second.  I have seen them used before at technology competitions.
