The following webinars are being run by us at the VCAA and DLTV for Digital Technologies next week (Week 8 of Term 2) for teachers and leaders in schools. I have included all details and the links below.

1.      Monday 4 June                VCAA Session    Sean Irving (VCAA Specialist Teacher)                    4.00-5.00pm

Title:      Introduction to the Digital Technologies Curriculum (F-6)

Time:     1 hour

Abstract
This webinar will introduce participants to the Digital Technologies curriculum from F-6. They will become familiar with the curriculum as a continuum. Content of the session includes discussion around: ways of thinking, strands, key terms, content descriptions, achievement standards, levels and some examples of how to approach the teaching. This webinar will be suitable for teachers with little or no knowledge of the curriculum.

Title:      Digital Devices in the Digital Technologies curriculum (F-10)

Time:     1 hour

Abstract
This online session will be for teachers of the Digital Technologies curriculum from F-10 wanting to support the use of digital devices in their classrooms. They will become familiar with the use of the devices, computational thinking, use across the strands and approaches to teaching with them. This session will be suitable for all F-10 teachers.
