Dear All

I would like to send out an invitation to teachers to speak or present at professional learning sessions with the VCAA and DLTV in both face-to-face sessions and webinars.

Currently we are looking for some teachers to present sessions at DigiCon on the 27th and 28th of July for Units 1 & 2 Computing and Units 3 & 4 Informatics. Teachers presenting at DigiCon receive a free day's registration to the event.

I am aware from conversations with teachers that some don't believe they would be comfortable presenting or that the audience would not find their session interesting.

However, we need different teachers that have a different way of thinking to share their teaching and learning experiences with their community. While it can be daunting at first, it can also be very rewarding, both personally and professionally. It is a great way to develop networks and foster best practice in the classroom.

So if you would like to present at DigiCon, other face-to-face sessions or webinars, please email me off list to let me know.

Kind Regards

Phil.
