[Informatics] Predecessor, dependency question - Gantt charts

I don't think it's a significant philosophical drama, but...

I'd say one task can only be dependent on another task. A milestone is not
a task; it's a psychological *event* (it just *happens* with no resources
or time allocation.)

So, I'd connect a dependent task to the task *preceding* the milestone -
the one whose termination triggered the milestone.

Or not.
