Hi
I used GanttProject but I’d prefer something that links into Google Calendar as most of our files were stored by students in Google Drive storage. I have had a brief look at Ganttify (which is hosted at https://www.gantt-chart.com/ ) which looks like it might have potential.

It’s one thing having a Gantt chart that sits on a school computer and gets tinkered with once in a while, it’s another altogether to have one that interacts with students giving popups or reminders on their daily schedule.

That said, happy with Gantt Project as a tool that helps students learn key areas such as milestones, dependencies, critical paths and lead time. Unless I’m convinced Ganttify can do the job I won’t be switching. Gantt Project is also the tool used with examples in the textbook so it may be more familiar with students if you do a lot of textbook teaching.

Hi,

Just a quick post asking what software teachers used for the project planning part of the SAT?

Cheers
