[Informatics] Primary Samples

Hi Stephen & Don
My students have been submitting their questions (like a lot of other students) to a VCE distribution list on Facebook.
The only thing they have commented on is the lack of quality in the responses. One advantage in monitoring your own responses and conducting your own survey is reinforcing how important it is that you treat the process seriously.

In future I think all VCE Informatics Students (and teachers) should be allowed a day long incursion to answer everyone else's surveys. :)

How about an online survey? One of my guys made one, posted a request on Facebook and had 100+ replies within 20 minutes. Country distance, global Internet.

Hello All,

Students from smaller country schools will find it difficult to round up anywhere near 100 subjects for primary data collection. Using social media or email to recruit potential respondents appears to be the only option. Thoughts?
