[Informatics] SAT Data collecting

Hi all,
Is a student allowed to get someone else to collect data on their behalf? For example, I have a student whose mum works at another school. He wants her to collect data for him. I suppose if he created the Google Form and she just distributed it via hyperlink, there wouldn't be an issue would there? He would still be getting the data directly. I am not at ease about this, but I can't quite put my finger on why. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
