Subject: [Agriculture and Horticulture ] AFFA Stocktake document

Hello All,
The Australian Agriculture and Food Sector Stocktake provides profiles on
the current state of Australian agriculture by industry and also a report on
general issues and trends. Useful background resources and references for
teachers and students.
The documents can be viewed / downloaded at
http://www.agfoodgroup.gov.au/publications/stocktake.html

There is very little mention of education in the stocktake, despite
discussion about addressing community perceptions, etc so on behalf of the
national network of agriculture education programs, LandLearn and AgAware
(QLD) coordinators are working together to write a submission re the role of
agriculture education.

Regards

Ann
