Thanks Carlin, useful to see.

Haven't quite got to documenting all of mine yet.

Interesting that you have Core DigiTech subjects at Year 9 and 10 when the curriculum says the subject is an elective at these levels. I tried to offer electives for both semesters next year to give the keen students more options but it didn't get up.

Hi All,

Unfortunately I have been hoping to get in and finalise resources all year for the new digital technologies curriculum, but as normal the day to day has gotten in the way (A trip to Europe also didn’t help my time issues).
As a result these documents are in the half finished state, but may be useful as you are planning next year.

Please comment, provide feedback, especially if errors have been made. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
School Structure
4 Periods / day (72 Minutes each)
Fortnight Timetable
Core:
Year 7: 4 Periods / fortnight. – 1 Semester
Year 8: None
Year 9: 4 Periods / fortnight. – 1 Semester
Year 10: 3 Periods / fortnight. – 1 Semester *Will not exist in 2018

Electives(4 Periods/fortnight – 1 Semester):
Year 9 – Digital Communications (Think Photoshop/Media)
Year 10 – Unity3D Game Design (Programming Focus)
Year 10 – 3D Printing & Programming (Design Focus)

·        Year 7

·        Year 9 (Year 10 will be identical in 2017)
Year 7 Topic Resource/Plans

·        These summaries are not designed as a single lesson, as teachers should still be available to design their lesson, however it does list core content, and allows staff to collaborate on resources they develop.

·        Some will last 1 Lesson, some will last much longer

·        Y7 “Computers 101” (Binary/Network) was a flop, and needs to be redesigned. (Has been excluded)
