Thank you everyone for the help with VB.Net.

The technician had said about Visual Studio Express so we are on the right
track.

I do know about Dreamspark. I went to a PD but in usual Microsoft style when
I try to register the school to get the software things don't work
properly.

I have registered and am able to give students a key so that they can get
the software free but am still working on software for the school.

The person who ran the PD doesn't even respond to emails.
