Hey Folks,

I was just cruising around the ABC3 website and saw this article which
might be of interest to some of you.
How to be a Games Designer
http://www.abc.net.au/abc3/articles/s2507162.htm?section=digital

Gave development is a big industry - so it is a legitimate career path
these days - but it's also proving to be a good way to get kids into
programming...

I also recently posted to the Yr12 software development list about this
python resource http://inventwithpython.com/ and Paul Pascoe from St
Francis Xavier College posted this review on his blog:
Passy's World of ICT: Game Programming in Python http://bit.ly/90obaw

But like the article on ABC3 points out... there's more to game
development than just programming.

It's rich with ICT potential across the curriculum requiring skills
development in graphic design, music, story-telling, physics...

and Higher Order Thinking... ;)

Happy New Year everyone! What are your fave game development resources?

cheers
Donna
