[Yr7-10it] year 9 audacity

I have been working with the English department as they are producing radio
plays based on the novel they are currently studying. The ESL students love
it and the students in general jump straight in and start selecting and
editing with very little instruction. They of course love to hear the sound
of their own voices and it is easy to add music and effects as well.
One thing is that if you wish to save output as an mp3 you need to manually
place an mp3 encoding dll file in the audacity folder. This can be found
easily by searching for lame_enc.dll
Not 100% on how legal this is though?
Have fun

Subject: [Yr7-10it] year 9 audacity

Currently I am running a program with year 9 for them to produce a
music/dance track using effects in Audacity and they are absolutely loving
it. For girls who are constantly hassling me to listen to music in class
this works well. I am using Antony Huymayer's tutorials available online.

Is anyone else using audacity out there? I would like to know how it is
working for you?
