This sounds like fun. You might like to promote this activity
throughout your classes. There are some decent prizes in the mix and a
chance for students to see their artwork in practical use. I have even
uploaded a one page tutorial that explains how to convert a drawing or
photograph into SVG clipart.

Got any creative budding digital artists amongst your kids?
OpenOffice.org is holding a competition to create clipart and document
templates and there's cash to be won. You can even use OpenSource
design software to create the clipart - GIMP and Inkscape.
