Hi all. Maybe I've misread the <a href="http://www.vitta.org.au/resourceshop/id/116/cid/1/parent/0//t/resourceshop/title/2011+VCE+Software+Development+Exams+Pack">VITTA webpage's description of its Unit 1 & 2 exams</a>...<br>
<br>If so, I would be glad to be disabused of a distinct and worrying oddity.<br><br>"The 2011<strong> VCE IT units 1 & 2 Exam Pack</strong> contains two <strong>combined Units 1 & 2</strong> exams and includes. <strong>A Unit 1 only exam will be available in July 2011</strong>."<br>
<br>Does this mean there is no separate exam for unit 2 alone?<br>If not, does VITTA not remember that (unlike units 3+4), Units 1+2 are <b>not</b> sequential? I thought VITTA might have realised this after (finally) producing the separate unit 1 exam.<br>
<br>Since I have students who have joined my class this semester for unit 2, a combined unit 1+2 exam would be unfair. <br>I can't insist on assessing them on unit 1 knowledge or skills if they have not done it!<br><br>
