Just for the heck of it...coz we could..I arranged with our techie here and<br>
grabbed a small number of 'old', not now in use, machines we had and<br>
attempted to load the UBUNTU server software on one to hopefully, set up a<br>
mini-network with my Unit 2 kids. It relates to the network outcome so I<br>
figured its a good idea!<br>

Success! We got the server running! Today, our challenge is to try and get<br>
a couple of workstations attached via a switch we also had!<br>
<br>
The boys enjoyed it, and so did I !<br>
<br>
Will see how we go...(no manuals or experts involved here, we are figuring<br>
it out as we go!)<br>

Oh, we called our server 'Steve'..one of the boys suggested it and well, why<br>
not!(a bit of fun never hurt)<br>
