[Yr11 Information Technology] Unit 2 programming on TI

I'm teaching VCE IT for the first time and have the students working on gamemaker. I'm trying to order the gamemakers apprentice guide to help me work through this. Any sample tasks that suit Y11 outcomes would be appreciated. I've downloaded heaps from the yoyo website. Some of my students aren't into gamemaker though. They seem a bit more interested in programming their TI calculators. Would this suit? I must admit, i'm more confident programming a TI than i am at working with the gamemaker scripts.
