[Yr11 Information Technology] yr 11 IT - programming in Unit 2

Because we stream our year 11's into programming and applications classes
I'm thinking that our programming guys/gals will do vb.net and the other
class do game maker as many in that class have not used computers and I
don't think the learning curve is as steep given the time constraints. Is
anyone else looking at gamemaker for this outcome?
