and give students opportunities to design and create digital works for
real-life purposes. Students develop skills in communicating,
collaborating, self-directed learning, problem solving, researching and
publishing their findings. I would appreciate you making the following
information available to your colleagues.<br><br style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Do you have budding film makers in your school?</span><br><br>Here’s
a chance for them to go behind the scenes and utilise their creative
abilities to develop a short film of three minutes duration. The Short
Film (Primary) competition is a collaborative project between the
Centre for Learning Innovation and ABC3. Winner, Runner Up and
finalists will have their entries played on-air or online. <br><br>The essential item for the 2010 Primary competition is the numeral ‘3’.<br><br>All entries in the Short Film (Primary) Awards must be submitted by 6:00 pm AEST on <span style="font-weight: bold;">23 June 2010</span>.
