co-ordinator regularly liaises with faculty convenors and the director
learning and teaching, as well as teaching staff along the way, to help keep
up with the whole technology extravaganza. It is a massive job if its done
properly. Our e-learning person is so switched on; calm, approachable and
highly qualfied to guide the rest of us. He does a marvelous job. But I
get what you're saying.</FONT></DIV>

does not understand what an elearning coordinator can and can't do. As long
as the word embed is in the statement somehow it makes it ok.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It is the job of the learning area manager and
level manager (VELS speak) to identify the technology and then ask the
elearning coordinator to assist with its implementation, staff PD and
monitoring of uptake. The elearning coordinator has to understand the
network, how software can be deployed and how it can be used and applied. If
he or she does not then it is best to just let the network manager do this
part of the job.</FONT></DIV>

statement of how things can work efficiently with true successful outcomes
?</FONT></DIV>
