Thanks Claire, good to finally have some clarity on this. As an aside, is the latest version of Flash (not animate) CC 2014, and does it have the bone tools?

VCE VET Interactive Digital Media



Computer-based examination - 2016



The operating systems and software to be used in the 2016 VCE VET Interactive Digital Media examination are outlined below.



Approved software programs

Flash CS4 and above

Photoshop CS4 and above OR Corel Photo-Paint 12 OR Fireworks 8.0

authoring interactive sequences

will not be assessed in the practical component



Notes



* CS4 will not be supported beyond 2016. Any provider using CS4 in 2016 must contact the VCE Examinations Unit before 24 March 2016.



* Adobe Animate will not be supported in 2016.



Operating systems required for the running of the examination



Only the following operating systems will be supported:



* Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10



* Mac OSX 10.8-10.11



Please note that any new operating systems not listed above will not be supported.



Any provider unable to meet these requirements must contact the VCAA immediately.
