I hope you have enjoyed the break and are looking forward to Semester 2.
Wednesday 17th July is the day developed for students and teachers as part of 2013 ICT Week.  The event is based at the State Library with activities at the State Library and in other venues including the Arts Centre, NGV International and ACMI.

2013 ICT Week & Careers Expo
- Still time to book tickets for you and your students for the day of activities and events at the State Library (Wednesday 17 July)
- New location, new events

You and your students are invited to the day of events at the State Library of Victoria on Wednesday July 17, organised as the centrepiece of National ICT Week.
There are workshops, activities, presentations, a Careers Forum and an Expo with various course providers, all designed to stimulate interest in ICT and careers involving ICT.

Let us know you are attending by booking your free tickets online<http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=51194> - print out and place in the barrel at the State Library for some great door prizes.
To attend the sessions on the day, you must enrol your students in each activity you want them to attend. Register for individual sessions via the program<http://www.ictweek.vitta.org.au/ictcareersexpo> where it says 'Register'. Some sessions have limited seating, so be quick!

The day of events and activities is supported by the Victorian Government ICT: Start Here, Go Anywhere careers awareness campaign.
We are also pleased to be able to combine this day with the centennial celebrations of the domed La Trobe Reading Room at the State Library.
