[vet-mm] Top Hints for Top Designs - What the VET Multimedia Judges are Looking For

Hello all, 

PixelEd are hosting an exciting event at the Melbourne Museum for teachers of VET Multimedia who want to know how to best assist their students impress the Top Design Judges. At only $15 per person this session will be a valuable addition to your Professional Learning calendar. Read below for more information: 

Top Hints for Top Designs: What the VET Multimedia judges are looking for 
Students whose VET Multimedia work is expected to get an A+ or A are encouraged to enter Top Designs. Those whose work is chosen receive due recognition for their outstanding efforts, a big boost to their self esteem and a great addition to their folio and CV. But what do the judges want to see? How can we as teachers assist students to present their work in a way that impresses? Three judges from the 2009 panel will give valuable insights. You will also have time to view the Top Designs exhibition. 

Date: Saturday May 16th 
Time: 11am - 2pm 
Venue: Melbourne Museum, Carlton, Victoria - Activity Room A

Claire Bloom (state reviewer and 2009 judge) 
Reece Lamshed (2009 judge and Industry Representative) 
Marian Stoney (2009 judge and experienced Multimedia teacher) 

Cost: $15pp 

Please note: There will be a break for lunch. Participants can purchase from the Museum Cafeteria or bring their own food. Tea and coffee also available from the Cafeteria.
