Similar but different - shape refers to 2D, form refers to 3D. Scale and proportion are a bit more complex. Scale refers to relative size of different objects in a group whereas proportion refers to the relative size of the component parts of the whole, eg a cartoon of Marge Simpson has hair that is out of proportion. Have a look in a VCD text for a more thorough explanation,

M

Ok I might be thick - but was checking out the principles and elements
in the VCAA Contents matrix.

Can someone clarify for me - aren't Form and Shape the same thing, and
aren't Scale and Proportion the same thing as well????
