Hi Claire,
No problem.
As you did say, some of the material that was given out at "shift happens" was included in a different format.
What was there reminded prompted me to remember the Canon photo 5 competition which is an idea I certainly want to use.
For what it is worth here are two attachments:
1. Photo Express on-line - students make an account and upload two images which they manipulate. I am using it as a soft way of getting to know my students. Who will shirk homework etc. I am urging students to use their account as a way of holding copies of images - they get a 2gb account for free.
2. Examples of good photography - students use the kodak web site to examine examples of good photography. They have to pick 5 aspects of good photography and take a two pictures: what to do and what not to do.
I am using this as a pre-cursor to the Canon 5 competion. My first object will be a Christmas decoration. I wont presecribe what the decoration is.
Feel free to use or pass on.

Congratulations to our Friday the 13th lucky winners:
Ingrid Wood gets a copy of Photoshop CS4 and Michael Flynn Flash CS4.
They will be sent out to you next week.
Thanks to Adobe Education Leader, Sue Bell for providing these, on
behalf of Adobe.

We didn't realise until after the day, that something had gone awry with
the printing of notes for session 1, so we will be emailling another
copy to attendees.

Also session 2 attendees will get a copy of the powerpoint notes used.in
that session.

Membership of PixelEd for 2009 is currently being organised and we will
post details via the list.
The PD notes will be made available to members via our website.

PixelEd will be looking closely at the PD feedback forms and hoping to
plan future PD in response to your comments.
If attendees don't mind, we may contact you to clarify your suggestions
for PD.

We would welcome everyone's input on the question of PD.

Also encourage everyone to share resources, tips and discussions via
this list.
