You could try a Sony HD HDD Handycam that can take a gun/zoom mic or a Bluetooth detachable mic. The Bluetooth mic allows you to position the camera for best picture and the mic separately for best sound.

Subject: [vet-mm] I need good sound on Video Cameras

I need a camera with excellent sound quality, or an affordable radio mic set up
for recording professional development workshops for remote and regional
teachers.
Any recommendations?
