Guys,

Have just had the transition class for my first (And last obviously!) go
at Year 12 VET Multimedia for next year. Once again, I'm from a computer
programming background and this design stuff is way over my head. I found
a great website for design
(http://vels.vcaa.vic.edu.au/support/dais/resources.html), have spent
countless hours trying to write tests and content and seem to be banging
my head against a wall. All I did was go over some basics and got students
to make blogs and we linked them to a class wiki. They are taking pics
over the holidays for design principles and elements.

I have also called institutions for resources available to buy but am yet
to find any, although they seem to be already onto the IDM stuff. If
anyone knows anywhere that sells unit packages etc I would really
appreciate it if you could give me the contact details.

I would also be willing to meet people and get some discussion going on -
Are there any other first year VET MM teachers out there for Cert III next
year?

Regards

Travis Parker
