SOUNDHOUSE IS ON TOUR to FRANKSTON in 2008!

 

The Alfred Brash SoundHouse is the Victorian Arts Centre's world class
music technology and multimedia Centre.  The SoundHouse is coming to the
Frankston Arts Centre's Cube 37 for two weeks in 2008, from Monday the
19th to Friday the 30th of May.  We are inviting bookings for school
groups and students, to create, participate and develop their talents
using the latest in computer technology. 

 

Programmes on offer include:

 

Discover Music Technology

*      An introduction to making music using computer technology

 

Extended Discover Music Technology

*      Develop further the skills of using technology to make music

 

Electronic Music Producer

*      Learn the steps of producing your own music track, including
vocals and burning CDs.

 

Sessions are run in groups of up to 30 students.  Please contact Cube 37
for further information or to make a booking.

 

*	One hour workshops: $7 per student
*	90 minute workshops: $11 per student
*	Two hour workshops: $14 per student

 

SoundHouse also runs Professional Learning sessions for teachers in a
range of software applications such as Acid, Vegas, Sonar, Sibelius,
Photoshop, Reason and others. If your school has a need for training in
a particular multimedia application, SoundHouse may be able to provide
specialist training for suitable sized groups at the Frankston Arts
Centre during the May sessions.  Please contact Cube 37 for more
