Not only do they have 3-5 minute video workshops but Adobe provides
source files and written tutorials for some of these workshops.

... and for some of the best introductory books on multimedia software I
don't think you can go past the inexpensive and well 'set out' books
published by Natcoll.

Maybe there is an opportunity here for some online learning to
take off where lab3000 finished. The software to enbale this sort of
thing is getting better and more widely available - we need to start
breaking the tyranny of distance. The need for PD in regional Vic is
potentially very large. In my case I am teaching mmedia with very
limited experience and both my need and hunger for PD is large. As is
often the case in small schools I am not a specialist in this area and
my opportunities for PD in Melbourne are very very limited. This list
continues to be a great help for getting ideas, support and keeping in
touch.
