Hi Rob,
VCAA is well aware of all the issues outlined in this thread eg. timeline, name of the course, completing full vs part certificate... Unfortunately, they have a procedure to go through, which involves a number of consultations, and a number of committees meeting to approve the new course. 

I will certainly ask them (again!), when they expect to be able to publish the new details, as we are all waiting anxiously for this information.
To be fair, it was not VCAA's fault that the new training package came out late (I think the Federal election played a part in this?) and that other details such as nominal hours had to be sorted before they could go through their process. 

PixelEd will be running PD on the new course, both at VITTA conference and other forums, when we have the details and have had a chance to consider everything.
