Hi everyone

Susan O'Shannessy from VCAA has got back to me re our query on Action
Script versions for the exam. The examiners will take into account the
differences b/w the versions and students can use either AS2 or 3.
Susan's exact response is:

Students and teachers in exam centres using the latest version of Flash
can be assured that the differences between AS2 and AS3 have been
considered by the examination panel in setting questions. Any stimulus
provided in action script will be accessible to students who are
familiar with either version.

Where (if directed to respond in their selected code) students provide
an answer using the syntax of AS3, this will also be taken into
consideration by the assessors.

In addition, Student Exam Instructions and relevant instruction screens
for the 2007 VET Multimedia exam are supposed to be available from the
VCAA website from today. (I haven't been to check yet!)

Cheers, Mark
