[vet-mm] Pixel Ed - Gear Up Day

Overall I thought the exam seemed pretty fair and straight forward. The
scripting theory questions will probably separate my students a bit. The
animation seemed tedious rather than creative.

The vector bitmap question is interesting. If it was a simple, one
colour gradient in the sky you would probably say vector but the multi
coloured gradient makes me not so sure.

Yes I agree. Last year's animation was quite hard but this year's is too
easy. My gun animator won't get the credit she deserves. I thought the
theory section was very fair. The question on whether you would choose a
bitmap or a vector was interesting - I chose bitmap but I couldn't think
of a third reason. I would have said bitmap to achieve the gradient in
the background, and because it has so many colours that a compressed jpg
would be a better option than a vector with masses of objects in terms
of file size, and....I don't know what else. What would others have
said? Maybe vector was the right answer?

The exam looked like a good one, maybe a bit easy. There wasn't a lot
to differentiate the guns from the not-so-guns.

What did others think?

Rachelle
