One way to do it is to create a variable which is then output on the scorebaord via a text box. Add 1 to the variable each time a correct answer is given.

Subject: [vet-mm] Scoreboard in actionscript

Hi all
I am getting my year 12 students to do some maths games with a
scoreboard that keeps a count of correct and/or incorrect responses
using Flash. Does anyone have any advice, useful website or any script
that might come in handy in creating the scoreboard?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
