1/ Take a look at the registered teams - names are pouring in. Deadline
is 17th October, but please get your students signed up as quickly as
possible - this allows them to plan the day and sort out team tasks more
effectively. There are many resources you can download from the site to
help you and your students. All they have to do on the 27th October is
create a three minute video in 6 hours... Details on the website.

2/ There are quite a number of various sessions at the annual VITTA
Conference that are devoted to the use of student-video-creation in
schools. Some are hands on, so if you want to get skilled to try
introducing 3in6 in 2007 here is your opportunity. We find that the kids
absolutely LOVE doing it.

3/ Early Monday morning (session 1204, 11.15am for 60 minutes) 21st
November - be part of the judging panel by attending this session. Get
to see first hand the best 3-minute videos from across Australia.
Divisions are Primary (Grade 5&6), Junior (Yr7,8,9) and Senior
(Yr10,11).

4/ Page 44 of VITTA's Magazine "Infonet 15:3" can be photocopied and
given to your students.
