VCE and VET IT Day: 26th February 

See your students right in 2010, and get the value of years of reflection and experience on these subjects: IT units 1 and 2, SD and ITA Units 3 and 4. Paula Christophersen, ICT Curriculum Manager, VCAA will be speaking (and giving a sneak preview of the new study design) and there will be sessions on building assessment tasks, VET IT, teaching CISCO and much more. 

REVIEW Come and hear experienced and talented teachers outline the essentials of VCE IT and VET IT. Paula Christophersen, ICT Curriculum Manager, VCAA will be speaking (and giving a sneak preview of the new study design), as will teachers who explain how to build an assessment task for the Unit 3 and 4 subjects. 

REFRESH This outcomes-based Professional Learning day to will help teachers to implement the VCE Information Technology Units 1 and 2, Information Technology Applications Units 3 & 4, VCE Software Development Units 3 & 4 and also VET IT Certificates II & III with their students. 

STIMULATE The presenters are an experienced team with expertise in the development, assessment and management of the VCE IT and VET IT studies. This day will suit both teachers new to VCE IT and experienced IT teachers needing to refresh their approach or to incorporate new skills into the planning and delivery of the IT study design for 2010.
