[VCE Maths] Further Maths and CAS

Hi Heidi,

Just one other thing, while on the subject of Further Maths-- our
further maths teachers have been really impressed with a book called
"Further notes". It is published by A+ Publishing and is priced at
$23.10. They feel that it gives a comprehensive summary of the course
with some excellent review material. The best of all the books they've
seen. We have now advised all our further students to get it.

We will be introducing CAS into all our VCE courses in 2008-- as yet
we
have not decided on which technology to use, but are leaning towards
the
Casio classpad. If you haven't already seen this machine, can I
suggest
strongly that you do-- you can contact Rachel Turnwald at Casio via
RachelT at shriro.com.au and she will arrange for a presentation at your
school. We have been most impressed with what we have seen.
