The Academy of Design Australia is pleased to invite Year 12 students to attend a Visual Communication Design Seminar on Saturday 14 May.

Session 1
SATURDAY 14th MAY: STARTING THE FOLIO | 10.30-12.30pm
Focus on the Design Brief, research methods and idea generation. Session will also cover wrapping up Unit 3 work and identify where they should be at this point in the unit.  This session is presented by Kristen Guthrie, who wrote the Nelson Visual Communication & Design VCE along with Visual Communication Design Units 1-4 Workbook.

Session 2
SATURDAY 14th MAY: COMBINING TYPOGRAPHY AND IMAGES 12.45PM-2.15PM
This session is all about type design, typography and making the right choices when it comes to combining type with images. Presented by Dr Barry Spencer.

Both Sessions will be held at the Academy's new Campus, at 20 Otter Street, Collingwood.
