[Visual Basic] Using Drawing Tools in Visual basic

Hi Ross,

Here is an extract from my book which covers drawing commands from the
System.Drawing namespace. I have also included one of my tutorials which
demonstrate the use of many of the commands in a program. Let me know if
this helps!

Cheers,

Adrian Janson

Ross,

The drawing tools on the toolbar are for creating/editing icons. There are
no drawing tools for Windows forms in .NET. You are required to use the wide
variety of drawing facilities in the System.Drawing namespace.

Look for help with GDI+. It is very deep and very wide!

regards,

Graeme

Hope someone can help me here.

I notice that there are drawing tools on the toolbar of Visual Studio.Net
however they aren't highlighted. How does one activate/use these? I want to
draw some shapes for a hangman game in Visual Basic using a windows
application.

Cheers
